The following describes the recycling codes which are in effect on the bag:

Code 5 recyclable for the bag itself
#5 PP
Polypropylene

Code 1 recyclable for the valve and zip
#1 PET(E)
Polyethylene terephthalate

The bag as a whole is Code 7 because it has 2 different plastics in it that have different recycling streams.
